Experts,
For one my reports we have to take data from Hive database, where the my tables XYZ will hold only yesterday data. i.e only one day data. it will not hold more than that as DB Team is daily insert and overwrite on that table.
But my End user requested me to check if we can arrange for some storage in the QVD formats daily and maintain that data for long time even after going to live as well.
i have plan for this as we can daily concade both old qvd and new data. and we can have storage of it. But here the problem is if the qvd is correpted or deleted by any chance.. i may not able to show the historical data...
Any better solution or work around for this much apprecaited.
