Hi,

Searchable option in Straight / Pivot table apply only to the measures (Ex. Current Sale, in your case)

For dimensions use the "Dropdown Select" option.

See below the link:

Straight Table ‒ QlikView

SearchableIf the checkbox Searchable is selected for an expression column, a search icon will appear to the left in the column header. Click the icon and a search box opens. Then type a search criterion (e.g. >100 000). When you hit Enter, all table rows with an expression value matching the search criteria will be selected.

Like Eliza already pointed to, use the dropdown select option, this allows to search and filter your dimensions:

Hello, Sandip!

There is a trick I used to use from time to time (love this language =)). Now seriously. You can create a Search Object, size and color it like the header of your straight table. Place it on top of the header and select a field which a search should be. It will be more flexible and you can manage "Text in Search Field" - it will give +1 to userfriendly of your project!

Hi Sergey,

Will it possible to position the search glass icon to appear on right side instead of default left side of search object?

Thanks,

Vijay

Hello, Vijay!

QV builtin options are not allow to do that, but you can download or draw a search glass icon and place it wherever you want.

I usually download icons here:

You can click the drop down select and in the dimension when you click the little arrow, right click in the list and you will find Search as one of the options. If you start with '*' and your criteria you can see the desired results.

I have this option in a pivot table.
