you can define that the legend will be shown inmultiple lines

under presentation, legend Settings, multiline, cell height

but then always 2 ines will be used (and not automatically wrapped)

QlikView didnot store my Pictures, so in text

select your Chart, right mouse properties

goto tab presentation right side legend settings

in Settings define Wrap text and give number of lines

iy you can post sampe qvw, I can doit for you

hi,

Goto the properties and presentation tab of the chart

1. in the legend group box select settings

2. select option "wrap text " and also the line height as 2

One way I did is using chr(10) in label, surprisingly it was not coming down to second line when I just increased the length of label after making changes in 'legend setting', it was just increasing the width of chart.

i donot understand, when i Change in an example the Dimension to " =Region & chr(10) & ' abceeeefefefeed' "without changing the legend Settings to2 lines I do see only the Region.when i Change to 2 lines, i get correct result

I think we both did the same thing..What I wanted to say is I also changed legend to 2 lines in 'setting' but when I didn't use chr(10) in label, it wasn't coming down to 2nd line automatically..

This didn't work for me until I went to the object and hit CNTRL+SHIFT and click and dragged the red lines outlines around the legend so the box is too small for the one line to fit in. Then I changed it to two lines with "wrap" on and it worked.
