Hi,
I have a bar chart with a horizontal reference line. I want the reference line to only extend as far as the first bar and not all the way across the chart.
Is there a way yo do that?
Than you for any help you can offer.
Brian
A reference line will always span the entire plot width. If you fix the min and max scale values of the y-axis you could put a line object on top of the chart. You could also use error bars, but those won't be wider than the bars so you wouldn't get a line, but line segments each spanning a bar.

Hi Brian,
Its not possible because there is no option in reference line settings to limit it.

Hi Gysbert,
Thank you.
I didn't think there was anyway to easily limit the length.
I think what I have will work.
Thank you again for the help,
Brian
