odbc connection strange behaviour QV11 IR

Hi all,

I have a qvw where i first connected to odbc connection superdb-a (Acceptance). I then copied the connection string to an include file. After that i changed the connection in the include file to superdb-p (Production).

When i reload the data it goed fine, but when i press the button Select it tries to connect to superdb-a again. Is this a known error in QlikView? We are running Desktop version 11 initial release.

Hi Menli,

the original in the script saved connection (superdb-a) - not that one on your external script - is used for the select button.

Just copy the superdb-p connect and save the QVW..
