Hello everybody,
I have a big problem that i can't solve alone. Since yesterday I try to find a solution but I don't know where to look...
Please if anyone has an idea I'd be very happy! [:D]
--> in my table I have a line with no value but when I click on that line I have a title and values ??that appear.
When I check the data in my database that line does not exist!
I dont understand the origin of this line....
(sorry for my english...[:(] )
ps: i send you an example ("Date De selection" is Octobre 2008)
Hi
check ur data model.
the DIM_INDIC table does not have link with other table.
without link how can you check the value of the fieldID_DIM_INDIC in the expression.
you should have proper link with other tables.
Hello,
in addition to the post above it looks like you did try to "correct" your datamodell with the use of a (second) calculated dimension in your straight table. If you link your indic-dim to your fact-table like the other dims, the chart (and all future charts) should work correct.
Good luck,
Roland
Hi Gopinathan and Roland,
I didn't know that tables must be linked...
I'll try to link tables or delete my table 'DIM_INDIC' and find an other path ..
I'll let you know..
thank you very much for your help
Hello again,
don't hesitate to link two tables. If you look at the table viewer (<ctrl> T) you can see a fine organized data modell with a fact table called FAIT_ACTIF_PERF and all around it the dim_tables linked mostly via an ID. So the only thing is the missing link between Table DIM_INDIC and your fact-table. To repair this you need only to load the ID_DIM_INDIC into your fact-table. So go for searching the sources after that ID.
Good luck
Roland
Thanks for your mesage.
I'll try to explain in English!
I have a mutual fund shareholder to a benchmark.
I have to display in the same table :
- a row for the mutual fund
- and below a line for the benchmark.
As the data model does not allow this display I created the table DIM_INDIC only for display in QlikView.
This table contains two labels: 'FCPE' and 'Indice de référence'.
I can't link this table with my table FAIT_ACTIF_PERF because FAIT_ACTIF_PERF contains mutual funds and their benchmarks.
I send you a new example because i think the last one was false... 😞 sorry!
