peek function and resident tables

Hi All, I am just starting with QV and I problems with (understanding of) the peek function. I reconstructed my problem in a little sample.

This results in :

v0 is just to show the content of the field

v01 is to check the condition

v02 is to show that it works when I explicitly select the second row from the input table

v03 is . . . . not showing what I expected, I expected the values to be just like the ones in the v02 column.

After reading through the manual / help etc.... I hope one of you can help me with this issue.
