personalized icons in google maps

Hi.

Can I put at Google maps graph instead of the balls, personalized icons?.

For example, to identify customers that are supermarket should appear a supermarket icon. And if the customer is a kiosk, should appear a kiosk icon.

Hi Sandro,

using personalized icons in Scatter charts is definitely not possible, so it is also impossible for Google Maps. You could write an extension which might make use of custom symbols, but QV built in functions do not (yet) support that.

Hi Sandro,

there might be another way to get personalized symbols but that is a bit more work to do and I didn't try myself yet:

I assume you're using the maps solutions provided by QlikTech and some users. If you have time and skills to write a little extension which uses Google Maps JavaScript API. That will allow you to submit also custom icons to Google's Map engine which will then return a fully functional object including the possibility to drag the map (which isn't possible with the static built-in sample).
