pivot table reload issue

i have pivot table  it takes too much time to reload ,how can i optimize reload

could some one help me to know

Restrict the data shown in the Pivot table by applying some filter, maybe show the pivot table only if some filters like region or country is applied , till that just make it to show that please select a region or country to view the data.
