Can anyone suggest me please. as the qvws are displaying as personal edition when opening in server. The files which are stooped to reload are not opening at all. could anyone let me know what is the problem.
Without license you can open the document you made but not the document other people have done (except for 4 times, if i'm not wrong these should be the number of times you can overwrite the protection, but i don't remember if you can just open and not see the data or you will see the data as well). The 30 days is a legacy due to the use of commercial employees that goes around with laptops, and so can use a license for 30 days going around but once a month need to get connected with the server to renew their license. You can use qvp://localhost if you are running QlikView Desktop on the same machine where the server is installed otherwise you shoul use the ip or the name of the machine (e.g. qvp://qlikserver)
