Hey,
We've been having this error happen quite alot later while using Qlikview in a web browser. Happens alot mostly while using the search box. Once the error pops up and I click okay, it usually keeps popping back up ever few seconds when I click anything else.
Any ideas on what's causing it? I've closed/opened IE numerous times, I've restarted the QV server and it still happens.
Isn't the most recent release 11.0.11426.0 ?
I think in the QV site download window it is called QV11, SR2 Upgrade 1.
BR,
btw, My client also got the same error, seems to be linked to scrolling the horizontal bar in a pivot table with many columns. (all dimensions and expressions are conditional, i.e use Enable Conditional) There is nothing in the Event log of the QV program for that date, there is no event in the Windows log as well that seems linked to this eror. We don't use section access in this application where the error occurred.
After upgrading to 11.0.11426 I can confirm that the search box - unexpected error bug has been resolved. It was actually corrected in the first SR2 version and is listed in the fixed bugs section.
Hope this helps!

Hi,
Our end user is facing error "Unexpected error occurred" frequantly. We are usinging QV 11.
Please help me for the same.

Hi Kapil,
Have you tried upgrading to the latest QV release? This was fixed in release 11.0.11426 I believe.
Cheers,
CG
What should I upgrade Like Server, Publisher or Devloper. fromwhere I can get upgraded the same. and what should be the steps which I should follow.
Thanks,
Kapil
The QV software is free from the downloads section. The latest version should fix the problem you're experiencing, I believe it is QV 11.2. You simply download it and upgrade on your system.

Still It is not clear that where is the problem is It in Devloper or in Qv Server.
Only Downloading the QV Devloper edition and reloading the Application can work?
Thanks,
Kapil
Yes, the latest developer/desktop edition upgrade with a reload and save of your document should fix the problem.
Cheers,
CG
Were you able to solve the issue with the advice from clevergoat ???
I have the ssame issue.
I also had this error message, in Firefox.
I could click away the message, only to end up in an empty dashboard where no button was clickable.
We use Qlikview 11.2.
I opened the dashboard in Internet Explorer and had no problems there.
After that, I could also use the dashboard in Firefox again.
