relate fact to dimension multiple times without role
I'm trying to link a fact to a dimension multiple times, but the association can't have a role. My data looks like this: sales link to one store and one fiscal date, stores link to one or more reps. The business wants to see the total sales by rep. It's a bit more complicated than that, but that's what I've boiled it down to. If I link the rep and store dimensions by adding records to the link table, will that take care of it for me? Or can I link the sales fact to another many-to-many fact, which links to the rep dimension? Thanks.
