rename field

Hello

I got a table that contains fields two of which are called Defect_id and Correction_defect_id

i have the following script :

DROP Field DEFECT_ID FROM TEMP2_QC_REG;

  RENAME Field CORRECTION_DEFECT_ID TO DEFECT_ID;

CORRETION_DEFECT_ID is only available in the table temp2_qc_reg

this script runs successfully on the QV client but when I run the task on the server I get the error on the second line above saying New field name already exists!

how the same script works fine on the client not fails on the server ?

Please advise
