save log file w time stamp to a different location

qvw is generating log files when reload, I don't want those logs to be visible in the folder where the application resides. Can I choose the location where I want to save it? like a subfolder or something

thanks

I don't think it's possible.

log file will be generated at the same folder where you have the application.

Hi,

if you're using a batch to reload, you can copy the original file in a temp folder, run the reload and then move to the initial folder.

so you mean to use execute cmd statement to move the previously generate log file to different location?

He probably meant the usage of qv.exe using command line (the cmd statement) to execute the reload.

Currently, you cannot control the location of the log files from the reload using only QlikView.

You need to use a thrid party tool.
