Do you have any Section Access in the document?

Do you have a -prj folder for the document?

Yes, Rob. It is having Section Access and my user details are added into the section access.

I had -prj folder for the dahboard. I deleted it and tried to save the dashboard and reopen again. But the issue still there.

Can anyone help on this issue?

I think its because of your SECTION ACCESS code...are you using NTNAME in the section access ?? if so than it will read the username from the NETWORK if you have not included your in the section access list it will not allow you to open the document ....

It looks funny. How it opened on first time but not on the second time.

I have admin rights for dashboard included in SA.

It is just i open the file, i do some minor changes or just rename it and save the same file and close it.

If i try reopening it, it says dashboard.qvw failed to open.

It is weird.

@gautham_prasad its how the section access is designed...you should be careful before updating any changes because it might lead to losing the document ....before implementing section access always take a backup first and then try your changes ....

Have you added yours in the SECTION access list ?

It may be issue of Session access or Personal Edition of QlikView application.
