scale on axis

hi i have bar chart ..

i have  dates from 2012  to 2013

in my chart its showing up dates for the selections , so i want to make static

for that  i kept static min--01/01/2012

static max--- 01/01/2013

step --???

when it comes to step what i have to give  if i want to show 12 months..

if i give days it shows 1990..

any suggestions???????

What's on your axes?

You may want to consider using dimension limits instead of expression limits, or the scale info on the axes tab.

i have dates for the expressions. so i am using horizantal bars .......

Are you able to upload an example? I can't imagine using dates as expressions unless you were aggregating them in some fashion...

Hi,

Just try removing the Static Min and Static Max values and use 1 as Static Step value (see attachment).

hi Khaled thanks for the reply but  my data  dont have starting date from 01.01.2012

it starts randomly for some project it is 3/2/2012 something like that

so i want to display all the time it has to start form 1/1/2012 and end at 1/1/2013.(has to be static)
