scrollbar position

I have a pivot table that allows the user to select a value from one row and go to a different table with more detail on the selected item. When they unselect the row they go back to the original table but the scroll position is always at the top of the table. Even with Preserve Scroll Position on, the fact is that they made a selection and the table reduced to one row so the scroll position will always be at the top when they return to the table.

I want to somehow save the scroll position from before the row is selected with a macro or bookmark and be able to return the user to the same place in the table they were when they return to the table. Is this possible? Can I somehow set it to scroll to a specific value or specific row.

I've seen a couple similar questions on the forum but the only answer seems to be the Preserve Scroll Position and that won't work for what I am trying to do. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Vicky
