server problem

hi, I have a email application and it scheduled to send an email with an attachment with daily basis. the attachment(pdf file) is creating via another application. it worked correctly. but now if i m not logging into the server via VNC viewer, it s not creating the pdf file. why is that?

Check the scheduled task details - have you checked the "requires manual login" (or similar) ?


You should be able to run the task on the schedule without the need to log into the server...

How are you creating the pdf ?

If in Qlikview, then make sure all the security settings are set correctly - ie module security is not set to Safe Mode only.
