share documents to user who did not install qlikview desktop

Hi experts,

I have qlikview SBE license and I created a qvw file on my PC, I'm going to share this documents to somebody who did not install qlikview desktop, is there any chance to do this ?

and what is Qlikview OCX ? can I embed my document into an executable file so that everyone can open it without need of installing anything ?

please advise, thanks !

Dave, I suspect your SBE license is your QlikView Server license, and that should have a number of CALs (Client Access Licenses) associated with it to allow the users to access the application via the server using either the Ajax or IE Plugin client.  You use the Desktop Client to do your development in most cases and then put that QVW file on the server to allow the users to then access things via the server clients.  About the best I can recommend for starters here is to start with the Help, but you may want to consider some of the QlikView courses as well.

About the best I can offer given the information provided.  There is no means for you to create an executable by the way, and in order to use the OCX in a development studio, that would require an OEM agreeement/contract in order for you to do that, just FYI.
