I have summary table which contains date field and I want to show the data based on filter/selection. "Current Year", "Previous semister", "Current Quater" but current year is not calender year it may be like Start date is 12/26/2011 and end date is 12/25/2012. And Current Quarter is start date 6/25/2012 and end date is 10/2/2012. Could you please let me know how I can define my filter or selection. Please help me ASAP
Build a calendar table. Create a variable that will hold the start date, then another variable that will hold the end date. Compute the quarter based on the number of months in between. Compute the semester also based on the number of months in between. Use the function Year to get the current year. Hope this would help.
