too many lines in line chart

Hi All,

I have multiple drilldown dimensions and one expression in a line chart

At the lowest level of my drilldown i have (sometimes ) too many lines .

I would like to show only a max of 5 lines by creating a condition (for eg: worst performing sales people by brand / territory / time ).

On the "Drilldown by Line" Dimenssion Limit, check "Global Grouping Mode".

You can restrict the number of lines displayed by using the 'Dimension Limits' tab.

In it, check the 'restrict which values are displayed using the first expression' then select Largest/Smallest/First 5 values

Hi Shiva Reddy,

Not sure I am leading in a wrong direction, but, here is what I need to display:

Max 5 Trains only based on number of minutes late.

The legend also should only display a maximum of 5 trains.

Please check that, in you screenshot, there are more than 5 Trains being displayed.

It's hard to follow along with what you are showing as the demo qvw you uploaded does not include the TrainNumbers shown in your screenshot.

Hi Rob,

I made great progress. Thank you

However, for charts with two Drilldown Groups,

"Global grouping Mode' is not working.

Any suggestion
