view created by multiple text objects

Hi Experts,

we have a application developed by someone, where various text objects are placed one above the other to give a detailed view. This somewhat looks like the 'Log Analysis' demo app.

I have to build a similar kind of view by overlaying various text object.

I am wondering, how to decide the length and width of each text object when we put one above the other.

You can set all the size and positions on the caption tab to be the same

Currently the functionality works like this-

There is a straight table on top of the sheet, so whenever usee make selection on a single row, the details of that row is displayed in the various text object present in the bottom. pls look at the screen shot.

The issue is, there are many text objects kept one above the other, to get the required view, but sometimes if there is more data to be displayed in the respective text object then the layout is lost.

I wanted to completely replace these text object with some other qv object, Is there any technique or object in qlikview to diplay data for my requirement??
