Force 32 is there to ensure your connections will work in all cases. There's no Force 64 as this would not ensure that your connection will work.

Connect32 This statement has the same application as the connect statement, but forces a 64-bit system to use a 32-bit ODBC/OLEDB provider. Not applicable for custom connect.

Connect64 This statement has the same application as the connect statement, but forces use of a 64-bit provider. Not applicable for custom connect.

Dear Subbu,

Force 32 Bit

Force 32 Bit Normally, QlikView 64-bit uses 64-bit providers. In case a data source with a 32-bit driver is to be used, check this option to force the ODBC/OLEDB connect statement to a 32-bit provider.

The answer of this question is on this post:

"If you are using 64 Bit Qlikview and you wants to use 32 Bit DB connection (ODBC/OLEDB) then you have to select Force 32 Bit option."
