why select possible is not reflecting the correct selection

Hello everyone,

I need help in selection making,as i want selection in a way such that when i select a role name as KAM and click on possible selection it will show me those values only but in my case when i am doing this it is not reflecting ,although if i drag it it showing me the correct selection.

Yeh sure..

If you select a value from a field and then try 'Select Possible' in the same field, the scope remains limited to that single value. Or, are you trying something else?

what i want to do is if i search for sm then i will be able to select all sm..

correct so when i type sm in search box and then i want to select all sm without dragging so for that i am looking for select possible or is there any other way to do that ......

Click on the bar/search symbol of the list box, then type your search string as shown in earlier screen shot, then press enter; all values with matched search will get selected. Select possible would not the one that you need here.
