you don't have access to this document

hi,

I've installed a qlikview server, created the mounted foulder and placed intop my document.

I can open it by the Qlikview client, butI'm not able to open it by the access point.

I'm getting the following message:

Failed to open document. You don't have access to this document. This document has benne created on my pc.

Help please, I don't know what I'm doing wrong.

If I create a document on the server, I don't have any problem.

Thanks in advance

Does the application have Section Access?

If yes, I think you have "Strict Exclusion" set under Settings > Document Properties > Opening and you get in as an admin when opening locally, but all connections to server are considered users, so you get blocked.

Johannes - Why can't we login through Access Point when we are marked as ADMIN in the Section Access? What is stopping the Server to show this document? Is there any reason for this behaviour?

Thanks,

DV

As far as myu problem, I had "Strict Exclusion" set under Settings > Document Properties > Opening without

a defined Section Access in the document.

For sure, my involuntary mistake

Hope this helps

Stefan - Can you login to Access Point as Admin using Strict Exclusion?

Thanks,

No, I can't.

I can login to the server as normal user, but not as admin.
