Container Object - Tab Width

We recently upgraded to qlikview v12.4 and there seems to be changes to the sizing of the container object from our previous version.

We have a container object and I was wondering if there was any way that the tab width can be adjusted? The container itself is somewhat narrow, maybe 3 inches in width, and i would like it for the tab to be 1/3 that width. Currently the tab width shrinks too much and the labels cannot be read. Previously it was able to be wider.

On desktop it looks like if the label is multiple words it can split to a second line, but this is not the case in ajax.

Try to concatenate chr(1) in your label expression:

='Label Name'&repeat(chr(1),[n])

[n]: number of times to repeat chr(1)

David, I suspect this may be due to the Skia Graphics Engine, which came into play in 12.30 and later, so if you were on 12.20 or earlier, you may find some things have shifted etc., and you may need to do a little layout work to get things back exactly as you want them.  This is covered in the 12.30 IR Release Notes document, just FYI, but here is the What's New from online Help too:

Scroll down to the paragraph on the Skia Graphics library.  Hopefully this helps further explain things, but I am hoping the other post may have gotten you what you needed, if so, please be sure to give credit by using the Accept as Solution button on the post, and if you are still trying to sort things out, provide an update here, so others may try to offer up any ideas they have.

Regards,
Brett
