Drill down in list box issue

Hi,

I am stuck with an issue where I am trying to create a list box with numerical, text and mixed value fields

When i try to drill down it drills down but it is in appropriate.

I have Fields with below values:

A           B       C         D

ABC    74    ART 4   XYZ

Now when i try to drill from A to B i directly get skipped to D not to a B and then C. I thought it is with the combination of the values of the string and the numerical values that is causing the problem but i think i am wrong.

Need expert advice plaase help.

Hi,

This is how the drill down works,

If you have more then one values for B it will show B or else it will drill to lowest grain.

This is what happened in your case.

Not always the data will have more than one related value I believe. Please suggest.

I have observed one more behavior. When I try drill down from level 3, it does not got to level 4.

Level 4 is that last one. In this case it is D and when i try drilling down to D from C it does not go.

Any suggestions?

Hi,

may be you don't have data of level 4 for the selection you made.

Monitor the same with current selection box.

Can you share a sample app to look in.

As I say there is no possible value in L4 that's why you can't drill to L4.
