Hi All,
Right now we have prepared different dashboard as per application.
Due to licence issue higher authority perople told me to merge dashboard into single one where there are most of identical table structure.
But all there are many different tables and row numbers are also vary.
Can you please suggest on this.
Thanks,
Deepak
We can transfer the selections only when we have common tables and fields.
Hi Varshan,
Can you please give me some example on this, that would be better for me.
Thanks,
We can open one dashboard from another dashboard.
create button->action->open qlikview document
we can pass the selections as well, but the condition is that what ever selections we are doing in dashboard 1 the same should be present in dashboard 2
EG: year,month in dashboard 1
should present in dashboard 2 as well
if there are no common fields then the selections will not pass but we can open the document
but the condition is that we need to create tasks for both the qlikview documents.
if not, we need to create only one data model based on the common tables from both the qlikview document
Hi Sasi,
My questionis different.
We have some of same field in dashboard 1 and 2 both dashboard size is around 300MB.
Due to shortage of licences management epople is ask me to merge both dashbord into single dashboard.
My question is if i can go through this will there any kind of issue.
Please suggest.
Thanks,
What type of QlikView license you are using in your Server?
You can merge both the dashboards by integrating the script into one but you need to rename common field names so that you can get two data models in island mode in your qvw. then on the UI you can manage by creating separate sheets to hold the UI components respectively.
One more question. Do you want to associate the data model of the first QVW with the Second one ??
In that the only alternate is to join both the scripts, and create only one data model.
So that only one dashboard can be published.
