Section Access test

Hi everyone,

I want test my section access code for some Custom users (login data from excel sheet). I try with the "Log on as specified user" option in the "Open in Server" menu but it does not works. Is this the right way? Some ideas?

Hi,

have you checked the section access in the local system ??? with different user names? have you used NTNAME?/

Indeed, I use NTNAME.

By the way, you know if the columns order in the section access is important?

Ordering of the column does not have any Impact on the section access.

Your Question: How to check the access for different user in the server.

solution: To check whether the access is working fine or not, since your using NTNAME it will read the user name from network , so go to the access point of qlikview it will prompt for the username here try to check here by log in as different user.
