Sorting inside of dimension

Hi there,

i am using a pivottable like this example:

sort.jpg

If i click on A (left side), the selection goes only to dimension A and all of its items (Dimension 2).

Now there's the problem, that i can't sort Cost after the explicit selection of the Dimension 1 (see right side, red numbers).

Any idea how to solve the problem?

Thanks and best regards

Sabrina

What are your sort options set in the pivot table?

Have you tried a sort by expression, like

=sum(Cost)

Yes, did it.

I have three buttons for three sortings and if i click on it, a variable will filled with the original column name.

In the properties of the table -> sorting -> Dimension theres a sort by expression:    =$(vSortierung)

Sorry i think this was my mistake: i want to sort the colum Cost, not dimension 2.

Cost is a formula with a calculation.
