load time

               am creating a new field in my table

so what am doing is

noconcatenate

load *,

resident tablename

but this is hapeng in 3 steps so means 3 times resident of previous table (with noconcatenate)

(as one new field is created at each step)

load time is too much for this ,

is there any other way to do it

May be you can use Preceding Load.

Better if you can provide some more information.
