Data Connection

Hi Friends

I want to connect my QV files now to remote my sql server. I tried so many times but failed to extablish connection.

Kindly help me with step by step procedure of how to create a connection to remote my sql server

For ODBC,  that error message typically refers to the incorrect driver version > 32-bit or 64-bit.  Have a look at The Great ODBC Confusion from the Qlik Design Blog.  See also the Qlik Support article ODBC connection to SQL Server fails with error: Error: SQL##f - SqlState: 08001, ErrorCode: 17, Erro....

As stated previously, typically this error indicates that you have the incorrect version of the driver as described in the Qlik Design Blog post The Great ODBC Confusion.  If you are unable to get this sorted with an ODBC driver, you can try with an OLE DB driver.
