SAP Connector connection Problem

Hi,

I have a question regarding the SAP Connector.

To connect to a SAP System from Qlikview Server, must the SAP System be also in the Netwerk of the Qlikview Server? Otherwise it does not work?

I am getting this connection failure message if I am trying on the Qlikview Server with a SAP Connector

I tried with the /QTQVC/SQL and tried to load a table and it works on the SAP Side after the installation of the transports. But I cannot connect with the SAP Connector.

Hi,

Have you checked to ensure that the PC/server running QlkView has it's IP address registered on the Firewall server which protects the SAP system. I'm assuming you didn't run /QTQVC/SQL from the same PC with the sap connector install. Also I think its the 32bit sap connector for 32 bit windows 7, 64 bit connector for the 64bit windows 7 systems.
