Distinct Funtion Issue in QV10 SR3

Distinct function doesnt' work with max function in QlikView 10 SR 3

The CODE

LOAD
MAX(DISTINCT AgreementID) as AgreementID
Resident Master;

This dosen't Work. It works fine in 8.5.

Any idea to solve this ?

why do you need the distinct the result will be the same with out it
