Hello,
When Iam trying to access the report through the access point, Iam getting the following error
"Failed to open a Document.File not found"
I can find the document in the location, In spite of this, I have got this error.
What I need to do now?
Hi,
I had the same Problem with the IE Plugin and "solved" / bypassed it.
If the file name or the folder name contains special characters like a "#" you will be able to see the QVW in QEMC and set it up, you will as well be able to see respectively to list it in the QV access point, but when you try to open it the link will / can not be resolved propperly and so you will get your "Failed to open a Document. File not found".
Just take out the special characters (I replaced the "#" with a "_") and you will see that it works.
It is a bug in QlikView, and in Version 10 it is still there.
Hi Larymano,
What client are you trying to open the QVW with?
It is IE
What events are listed in the event log?
I have a similiar problem with this. I cant open the document if i click through the link in the document list. But if open the document by tiping directly to the file (qvp....) then the document is open.
I had the same problem. And it was caused by me, because I as admin change account that was running the QV services.
Than I changed it back to domain account (belongs to QV Aministrators group).
Pls check that document is deployed in proper folder.
If you are using NTFS authentication, you should check the folder and file have the correct permissions set.

Hi,
in the same folder that you have the .qvw's please delete the .meta and .shared files.
It worked for me.
