When I am trying to open a configured application through IE with plugin installation, some times system is saying "Failed to open the document for unknown reasons". May I know the reason for this.
Have you checked the server log files yet?
Did you find the resolution/reason to this?
If so can you please post asap. I am getting 'failed to open document, for uknown reasons' each time I try to load a previously working qvd.
In the log files i see an error '###.qwv failed to load because of no access [15].

I´m facing the same problem here. It´s stranger because the problem only happens in the first 5 or 6 tries, then the document loads. The problem occurs again if the IE is closed (Tried with IE 7,8 and9).

Always try to use IE pluggin same as that of qlikview server installed.
for example if you have upgraded from v9 to v10.
then you must upgrade pluggin.

In my case the plugin is the same. I seems that some of the IE or Network configurations is delaying the authentication process (named user).
After you try 4 to 5 times, it all works fine. Make the access work in the first try is the problem. Some machines (like mine!) has no problem. Accessing using QV Desktop open in server works great too!
The error shown in the client Plugin or in the server events log is the same if you cancel the User/Password window or give the wrong password.
Any ideas?

Try to reboot the QV-server that solved the issue for us.
