Hello, all:
How to modify title of IE after user open qvw by IE through QVS 9.0?
I have tried many ways to solve this problem, but it does not work.
Thanks.
Well. If you want change title on webBrowser.
First Open QV document, and move Menu
Settings - Document Properties
On General Tab... You can modify value at Title Edit Box
Thanks for reply, but I want to remove "qvw" in IE title.
For example:
MyDemo.qvw is shown in IE title bar.
I want to change to MyDemo, not contains "qvw".
Normal 0 false false false EN-GB X-NONE X-NONE MicrosoftInternetExplorer4
A work around is to hack C:\Program Files\QlikView\Web\QvAccessPoint.js
and remove the file name. The simplest way to do this is to search for the string:
table.rows[0].cells[0].innerText = name;
and change it to
table.rows[0].cells[0].innerText = '';
ie don't show a name.
Hello GraemeB,
I tried the work around and I didn't get the results I wanted. Did I miss something else?
Thanks again.
Jason
Hi,
Is there any other way to delete or unshow the title of the Internet Explorer window? I already tried the workaround ("hack") but the title still showed. This is really an urgent requirement, please help.
Thanks in advance
