Upgrading from 8.5 to 9.0

The last time we upgraded the server 8.0 to 8.5 it was a huge hassle that took half a day with a consultant on site. I would like to upgrade to 9.0 but can only find instructions on how to do a fresh install and some suggestions that I have to completely uninstall QlikView and Publisher Lite Servers and do a fresh install.

Does this sound correct? Are there certain settings and configurations I need to write down or export before I uninstall?

Hi,

We've installed the version 9.0, basicly, the steps we done were:

* Uninstall completly the old version.
* Do a custom installation if you are using IIS, the standart version doesn't create the virtual directories.
* The manager console has changed, so you'll set up all again.
* You'll need a administrator account for qlikview services (it must be add to qlikview administrators group)
