there is a data file format we need to connect to QV which is not readable as flat file and definitely no database. As far as I can see, the only way to retrieve data from there would be a connector implemented.
Unfortunately I can't find a lot of usable information about the development of connectors for qlikview. I found the QV SDK, and I found some information about QVX. But I miss more or less easy understandable examples or overviews about this, e.g. whicch conditions need to be fulfillled in a connector software in order to be a valid connector, or also any information else around this topic.
Has someone experience with developing connectors and has further informaiton about this?
