Get QlikView IOS App working - Qlik Community

Hi everybody,

I want to use QlikView on my Ipad. I have created several QVWs which are lying on a proper QlikView server.

But now if I want to access those files through my QV-App on my Ipad, I can't set up a connection to my Access Point in there. It would always give me an error message.

Now my question is why am I having issues on accessing my Access Point? Do I have to prepare the Server or the QV-files in a certain way to be able to use the files through the app?

I have searched the community for answers but I didn't find a suiting solution for me.

I would be very greatful for any advice

Hi Jan,

do you use the app download from Appstore? if so you have to use ip adress to the qv-server.

You also have to be Connected With Your IPad into the same network as qv-server.

If you use qlikview webserver service this is the way.
