Qlikview 12 Crashing on midesktop

We upgraded our servers and Citrix streaming desktop applications to Qlikview 12 and it keeps crashing on script open.  Even a new script, what it does is it starts the process qvconnect64.exe and then it hangs, the script only opens if we stop this process. Any idea what would cause this with application streaming? Not sure how application streaming works.  Could it be something with a firewall? What does qvconnect64.exe do? Because whatever it is doing it can't do it.   -- I have no problems on 11 but not sure if it was set up to stream differently or it works differently.

qvconnect64.exe is Your connetionstring to open a Connection to a datasource 64 bit. Is Your database a 64 Bit Version? have you tried to force 32 Bit in Your connectionstring.
