SVG Map issue

Hi experts

i have an understandable issue with svg map

the mapextension has been defined and integrated under desktop devlopment environment

then migrated to integration environment (let's say ENV_1). It works perfectly

then migrated to validation environment (ENV_2). the map shows only blank area. the selection don't work properly either

I have to confess, i don't understand and have no clue where to start to find out the problem

any help would be appreicated

Hello .

you have to check up the extension folder content between  desktop devlopment environment ,ENV_1 and ENV_2.

i thin you will find a concordance between the two first and not with the third .

Extension under desktop can be found in :

% USERPROFILE% \ AppData \ Local \ QlikTech \ QlikView \ Extensions \ Objects \

on the server side :

% ProgramData% \ QlikTech \ QlikViewServer \ Extensions \ Objects

verify first on your servers that the default extension path have not been changed under  :

Qlikview server ---> Folders----> Alternate Extensions Path

Hi  Mohamed,

actually both ENV_1 and ENV_2 are run by the same QMC and the svgmap folder is the same for both.

Qlikview server ---> Folders----> Alternate Extensions Path   is empty

Hi,

Just recheck if the extension files are available under % ProgramData% \ QlikTech \ QlikViewServer \ Extensions \ Objects path. If not, reinstall the extension. If they are available, make sure you are opening the dashboard using AJAX client and not IE plugin.

have you tested using the same user on the access point for env1 and 2 ? perhaps you have restrisction on data .

I have tested with 3 different users

behaviour is always the same

Do you have a publisher server ? check data on each server to detect any restriction whil loading and distributing .

there is only one TEST server

yes there are

i have a clue, but i still don't see where to operate

data loaded under ENV_1 show a correct svg map under ENV_1 and ENV_2

SAME data loaded under ENV_2 show a UNcorrect svg map under ENV_1 and ENV_2

so data and qvw are out of cause

it seems there is a "parameter" under ENV_2 which causes the issue

what do you think

Yes , but on your server have the publisher installed on ? check up the reload tasks for ENV_1  and ENV_2 and see if there is a data restriction (option on publisher server )
