We are attempting to work with a third party software that has a snippet of code that they need for us to be a part of the QlikView application. We have attempted to put this into a document extension which seemed to work initially, but the extension which uses qva.addextention function gets called with every button click made by the user.
So first question is, is there a way to have qva.addextension execute only once per user when the app is opened?
In order to work around this, they recommend us to put the snippet into the footer tag of the HTML. However, it does not look like QlikView has a footer tag in the body. Is there something we can do within the opendoc.htm file within the QlikViewAJAX folder to add a footer tag with our snippet? We also need this to be dynamic in that certain parameters within the snippet depend on values coming from the specific app that is opening.
