Is it possible to create 3D Surface charts in QlikView?
Hi,
Go to Style Tab . then you can manage 3D view options. See the below screen short
is it possible for combo chart
I am afraid you can't do it for Combo charts.
A combo has both bars and lines. I dont think you can show a line in 3D, I mean how would it even look like. Thats why qlikview doesn't give you the option of 3D for Combos.
Hope it helps
Thanks
AJ
Got it thanks you just I am making it confirm
I might be wrong, but I think we need extensions to do real 3D surfaces.
I'm not referring to 3D Combo charts. I'm actually referring to 3D surfaces, where the charts have 3 physical dimensions (x,y,z) and an expression is a function of those three dimension f(x,y,x). I want to plot f(x,y,z) on a 3-D axis of x, y, and z.
Is this at all possible on QlikView?
The short answer: it's not possible out the box.
There is a possibility of adding a plug-in in here: https://qliktelligence.com/en/3d-surfache-chart/
However best practices avoid using 3D (surface) charts for several reasons.
Hope this helps!
