What is the "guid" in Google Map application?
H[View:http://community.qlik.com/cfs-file.ashx/__key/CommunityServer.Discussions.Components.Files/11/0143.Google-Maps-in-QlikView.zip:550:0]i,
Please see the attached file. On the second sheet, in the scatter chart which is used as frame, the dimension is call "guid", which is loaded from a qvo file. My question is, can I create guid by myself or it's standard and I should download it from somewhere?
If I have to create them by myself, what is the "guid"? They look like a bunch of random numbers, what is the logic after it?
Thank you.[:)]

In order to use the Google Maps, you have to sign up for a "developer key" from Google. Its a very simple process and it happens instantly. The URL do do the sign up is here: http://code.google.com/apis/maps/signup.html
