Hi All,
I'm new to QV but it's great to work with. I'm discover all sorts off possibilities.
I have a question:
When I'm minimizing a certain object, I want that certain other objects also minimize. The same I want when I maximize an object certain other objects also have to maximize.
Example:
When I dubbel click Object A Object B and C also have to minimize/maximize. But when I dubbel click object C object A and B also have to minimize/maximize.
I rather don't want to use a button. It has to happen when I dubbel click on object A, B or C.
Thanks for your help.
Hi Jordaan,
As far as I know I dont think this is possible, you can achieve this by the use of a button but im not sure that this is possible the way u want it to.Rather we can have a functionality where any one of the object out of the three are active and the rest are minimized at a time.

Navin,
Thx for your comment.
Can you explain me how ik can do with a button?
Hi Jordaan,
Just add a button.Go to Properties--->Actions-->Add-->Layout-->Minimize Object.Specify the object id which implies the sheet object which you want to minimize. You can find the object id of a sheet object by right clicking on the object-->Properties-->General tab.
As you have three charts over here you have to repeat the same process three times.the same can be done to maximize sheet objects...
Hope this helps you..Let me know if you have any queries.

Navin,
thx for your help.
It is not exactly what I mean but it's a workaround.
I have another question
I want to do some more with macros but my experience with VB is very small. Do you have any idea how to get this knowledge? For example, by buying a particular book or a website that you know?
Hi Jordaan,
You can find it in c://Program Files/QlikView/Documentation/API.qvw.Provided Qlikview is installed on
C drive
If you do not find it here just download it on net.
This is a guide to write macros. Please refer.
