Hello,
I would like to know best practice of Folders creation in Management Console.
Is it best practice to create Root Folder, which only contain pgo files, and no qvw files, and create more Folder of Production?
also,
I would like to know if it is seems right to create 2 folders:
1. Production Reload- where I will defined reload scheduler
production include 4 folders:
production\extract
production\transform
production\Load
production\layout
2. Production - include folder production\layout - where I will defined Document cals, and this Folder will be defined as browsable to users
meaning that in qvs Documents the file "production\layout\Application.qvw"
will appear twice
also in Production Reload and in Production
Is it seems ok?
Is server version (sr5,6,...) or Type (small, enterprise) makes diffrent?
qv server will know to approach each time to the right qvw doc?
Is it best practice?

Hi, It doesn't answered what I asked or meant to ask
I will rephrase my question
Is it right to have 2 qvw files with the same name and its even the same qvw in the same path, in mounted folders??
which in one the folder is browsable and the other is not?
Hi, As long as you can manage and have no confusion with that you can have.
But its recommended to have only once.

I don't think so,
In one of the customers, I have it as I explained,
and I have problems - and want to know if is it related to folders mount.
one problem is: in one day the users can entered QV document and in another day the cant- and there is a message of no user call, and there is a user cal.
in this way does qv server will know to approach each time to the right qvw doc?
HI,
I strongly suggest to have one copy in this case.
May be for 1 document user have access and not for other.
It will create unnecessary confusion.
As long as user is having access to document and if he/she is allocated a NAMED cal there is no issue opening that document.
Secondly how do you distribute/ Apply security.
Do you have publisher?
