Discussion Board for collaboration on QlikView Publisher.
I have a qvw. I am scheduling it using the publisher.
I am using the reduce field option to reduce the qvw by the field Category with field values as A,B,C for a specific named user.
However when I log in as an Administrator I should be able to see all the field values in the field Category but I am only seeing the categories A,B,C (same as my named user).
How do I fix this so that the Named User sees only Category A,B, and C and the administrator can see all the Categories.
If you reduced the document, the other categories should be gone. Are they still gone when opening with QV Desktop (the end document, that is)?
Make sure you are not running a loop and reduce.
When I look at the qvw in my source folder it shows me all the categories but in my mounted or destination folder it shows me the reduced version with restriction for categories applied.
If you distribute a reduced document, administrator will not see all values, as the distributed document do not have these values, as it has been reduced.
What you have to do is to use Section Access to reduce values on user level.
