Hi All
I have 2 Separate Tables.
When i Link the 2 tables based on some Primary Key than it gives me desired Result but the Problem is that i cant store its qvd because the 2 Tables are not Joined they are just linked.
So can anyone tell me what is the Best Practice or Method to Join 2 Tables which gives me same result as it gives with Linked Tables.
Regards
Aviral Nag
outer join is equivalent to linked tables
outer join is equivalent to linked tables
Hi,
You can do this :
Inner join(table1)
Load
*
Resident table2

Aurélien.
Alessandro is correct. Outer Join would be the equivalent to standard link because the outer join includes all records from table A and all records from table B and matches them up where it can. I find this page helpful as I often get joins confused, so maybe it will help you too!
These two articles should help you understand the best way to join or concatenate your data:
