Key and string should be a reference

Hi,

I am using emailId (string)-Autonumber# generating a key, with this I am integrating the data with other tables.. So,we are missing the data which are not matched with these email ID's and I suggested them to include a primary key in table, and we starting including Key starting at this moment. Is it possible to check one of these keys to show data with out eliminating previous data ?

Re: Key and string should be a reference

Hi.

You can create separate fields with different names in addition in each table to represent the key values from the particular table. Then you can use exists() function to check whether the value exists already or not.
